2011｜一段旅程，種下希望
A journey that plants the seeds of hope
2011 年，創辦人 Terence（胡爸）展開了一次個人單車環台之旅。在這段旅程中，他遇見了許多願意伸出援手的陌生人。那些善意、人情味與同行的片刻，深深觸動了他，也成為他重新思考生命價值與方向的重要經歷。
這段旅程讓他開始相信：人生不是獨自前行，而是在同行、探索與愛中，重新找到希望。
In 2011, Terence, the founder of Pedal for Hope, embarked on a solo cycling journey around Taiwan.
Along the way, he encountered many kind-hearted strangers who offered help, kindness, and encouragement. Their generosity and companionship deeply moved him and became a turning point in how he reflected on the value and direction of life.This journey led him to believe:
Life is not meant to be walked alone. It is through companionship, exploration, and love that we rediscover hope.
2012｜把感動化成行動 Turning Gratitude into Action
2012 年，Terence 發起「同踏征途」慈善單車活動，透過單車環台與旅程分享，為香港兒童癌病基金會籌款，為正在面對生命挑戰的孩子們帶來支持、鼓勵與盼望。
後來，Terence 將第一次「同踏征途」慈善單車旅程整理成書，出版《同踏征途》，記錄這趟從感動走向行動的旅程，也留下了同行、善意與生命轉向的故事。
從一個人的旅程，到一群人的同行，「同踏征途」逐漸成為一個承載愛與希望的行動。當時的口號，也成為這段旅程最深的精神：
你以心靈與我結伴，
我用雙腳與你同行；
那路，我們一起走。In 2012, Terence launched the Pedal for Hope charity cycling initiative.
Through cycling journeys around Taiwan and travel storytelling, he raised funds for the Hong Kong Children’s Cancer Foundation, bringing support, encouragement, and hope to children facing life’s challenges.Later, Terence turned the story of the first Pedal for Hope charity cycling journey into a book, Pedal for Hope. The book recorded a journey that moved from gratitude to action, preserving the stories of companionship, kindness, and life transformation along the way.
From one person’s journey to a shared movement, Pedal for Hope gradually became an action of love and hope. Its original motto continues to express the deepest spirit of the journey:
You journey with me in spirit,
I walk with you with my feet;
this road, we walk together.
2024｜讓旅程成為一套探索系統
From Journey to Exploration System
2024 年，Terence 在台灣成立 同踏征途｜PEDAL for Hope，以生命探索與教練引導為核心，結合體驗教育、教練式提問、戶外探索與 Points of You® 視覺引導工具，陪伴個人、家庭與團隊在人生道路上找到新的可能。
這些經歷逐漸發展成 PEDAL 生命探索系統：
Play 遊戲、Explore 探索、Discover 發現、Adventure 冒險、Love 愛。從遊戲開始，
在探索中發現自己，
踏上改變的冒險，
最後回到愛與希望。同踏征途，不只是一次單車旅程，而是一個陪伴人重新看見生命價值、關係連結與希望的開始。
In 2024, Terence founded Pedal for Hope in Taiwan, with a focus on life exploration and coaching-based facilitation. Integrating experiential education, coaching questions, outdoor exploration, and Points of You® visual facilitation tools, Pedal for Hope supports individuals, families, and teams in discovering new possibilities in life.
These experiences gradually developed into the PEDAL Life Exploration System:
Play, Explore, Discover, Adventure, Love.It begins with play,
opens space for self-discovery through exploration,
encourages courageous steps toward change,
and ultimately returns to love and hope.Pedal for Hope is more than a cycling journey. It is the beginning of walking with people toward value, connection, and hope.
